This is my original arrangement of Henry Purcell's "Music For A While" arranged specifically for my virtual ensemble Chapter Six. Written for 6-part a cappella, the two bass parts represent the "cello" singing the bass continuo throughout, while the other four voices play off each other with interweaving countermelodies.
